These terms govern use of Keweenaw County Court Docket. By browsing its content or using a linked resource, you accept these conditions. Anyone who does not agree should not continue using the site.

NO FCRA USE. Keweenaw County Court Docket is privately operated and is not affiliated with a government agency or court. It is not a consumer reporting agency. The site and linked tools may not be used for any Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) purpose, including decisions about credit, employment, tenant screening, or insurance.

1. What This Website Is

Keweenaw County Court Docket is an independent reference resource. It does not operate a court, keep the official docket, store official case files, set a hearing, change a court date, or submit a filing. Court case records remain with the Michigan court office that keeps the case.

The site may identify public paths to the Keweenaw 97th District Court, the 12th Circuit Court, Keweenaw Probate Court, MiCOURT Case Search, and other official sources. Its purpose is informational. It is not an official record service.

2. Informational Use Only

Content is general reference material, not an official docket, court order, certified record, or legal opinion. Court case-record access in Michigan is governed by MCR 8.119, rather than an ordinary county FOIA request. The court clerk should confirm any case detail that matters.

Michigan court rules also protect specified personal identifiers. MCR 1.109 governs that protection and filing treatment. For county-held administrative records, MCL 15.243 is Michigan's FOIA exemption provision; it does not replace the court-record process. A public-facing case-history result does not establish that all case materials are public or available for copying.

When using this site, you agree that you will not:

  • Use site information for a purpose regulated by the FCRA.
  • Attempt to enter systems or records without authorization.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Keweenaw County Court Docket is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. It does not create consumer reports, background reports, or credit reports. Do not use information from this site, its advertising partners, or a linked resource to make decisions about credit, employment, tenant screening, insurance, licensing, permits, or government benefits.

  • Every page is free of errors, defects, or security issues.
  • A partner search result is complete, current, or matched to the right case.

Case histories can change as cases are filed, scheduled, continued, dismissed, sealed, amended, or resolved. A court or clerk, not this site, supplies the official confirmation of a docket entry, hearing, or record.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links can lead to court pages, clerk pages, MiCOURT, legal-aid resources, payment services, and other outside resources. Each linked service controls its own availability, content, charges, privacy practices, and terms. Use those services under their own conditions.

8. Intellectual Property

The site's text, graphics, logo, and code are owned by Keweenaw County Court Docket or its content partners. They may not be copied, distributed, altered, or used to make a derivative work without written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability
