About Keweenaw County Court Docket

Keweenaw County court records are maintained through separate circuit, district, and probate offices, while Michigan offers a statewide public case-history search. This private reference resource brings those paths together so a known case, court date, or record request can be directed to the office that keeps it.

Why We Built This Site

Finding a Keweenaw County court record often begins with identifying the correct office. Julie Carlson is the Keweenaw County Clerk for the 12th Circuit Court. Roxanne Billing is the 97th District Court Clerk and magistrate. Mary Crampton is the Probate Register and Juvenile Officer. Those offices share the Keweenaw County Courthouse, but they do not maintain one combined docket.

Michigan's public MiCOURT Case Search is a useful starting point for public case history. It is not the certified record. A request for a complaint, order, judgment, transcript, or certified copy still goes to the court office that maintains the case. The local court names, routing facts, search paths, and record-access rules are collected here to make that distinction easier to follow.

What You Will Find Here

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference resource, not a Michigan court, a clerk's office, or a state agency. Only the court that maintains a case can act on its file. The practical limits are clear:

  • Official docket sheets and case files must come from the maintaining court.
  • Only the court can change, reschedule, or reset a hearing date.
  • Sealing, amending, or removing a court record requires the court process that applies to that case.
  • Certified copies are issued by the appropriate Keweenaw court clerk.
  • Legal advice must come from a licensed attorney.
  • Current fees, settings, and office procedures should be verified with the court or clerk.

The official record is held by the Keweenaw court office that keeps the case. A public MiCOURT history can locate the matter, but it cannot replace a clerk-issued copy or certification.
